Our client is a Channel Islands based law firm who specialise in advising international financing and investment transactions. The firm has two offices, the headquarters in Guernsey and a branch office in Jersey. They were experiencing overall IT performance issues in both locations although the Jersey Office, where there was no server infrastructure was particularly troublesome. The slow performance was causing dips in productivity and frustrating staff members. The organisation were looking to increase their overall operational performance and to reduce their bandwidth capacity to make them more effective and productive.

Our consultants fully analysed our client’s IT infrastructure, considering the needs of the users in the Guernsey and Jersey offices and their current and future business requirements. As soon as the product was installed, it halved the firm’s bandwidth and greatly improved their users’ performance in both offices.
Our client has a 2-3 year business plan in which they will review the solutions and verify the return on investment. It is still too early for the organisation to judge the direct savings but based on the increased user productivity and the halved bandwidth they expect that the savings will be at the very least, in-line with their business objectives.
