Green IT – Reducing the Environmental Impact Event
Date: 4 November 2008
Venue: St Paul's Cathedral, Wren Suite
This seminar event will be hosted over two sessions on each date (AM & PM) covering both business and technical tracks. The Business Track is intended for business executives and decision makers and will explore the different kinds of IT virtualisation - Desktop, Application and Server, and their respective applicability to the 'green' debate. It will also discuss how these can be harnessed to reduce management costs, increase business agility and help reduce your organisation's carbon footprint.
The Technical Track is intended for IT directors and managers (business delegates are welcomed to this track) and will go into the more technical aspects of the leading and emerging virtualisation technologies that support greener computing. There will be demonstrations and interactive question and answer forums available to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from the day.
